Eddy Current Testing has not been the standard method to perform nondestructive testing of ferro-magnetic parts such as a gear assembly. Ultron developed a method of using Eddy Current to help the mining industry find problems on gears before a catastrophic failure occured. After two and one half years of research, Eddy Current testing proved to be the best examination.
